We all have our own stories to tell about our friends. Let me share with you all, my bond with this fab friend of mine named, Bethel. It was last year when she decided to work in Singapore. Before she left for Singapore, we had a very lengthy discussion of "what if's", of "Plan A", and "Plan B". hahaha... imagine, going to a foreign land to look for a job?! its not an easy feat i must say. i guess a mammoth of determination and courage will really bring you somewhere, and this is the quality of this woman. coupled with a lot of prayers and faith, she made it! thank God! i'm so happy for what she has become, of what she has accomplished, and will accomplish in the days to come.
i have a lot of friends, and so is everybody, but as they say, you'll know your true friends when times get rough. you can only count by your fingers as to who will stick it out with you until the end. believe me, i've seen the whole experience unfold in front of me... there was a point in my life when things just went crazy, when i was hanging by a thread, where my lips were at the waterline. this woman really just helped me get through my toughest times, without reluctance and remorse. for that, i've always been grateful for her generosity and impeccable kindness.
anyways, its been more than a year since the last time we saw each other. all our correspondence was through email, facebook and instant messengers. just so not to miss the eventualities that's been going on with our lives. thanks to technology! keeping in touch has really been so easy. :) but then again, nothing beats personal touch! hahahha
so, she has decided to celebrate Sinulog and when we finally met up in Ayala cebu, i cant explain the happiness and how i missed this woman so much! we both just needed to hug each other so tight when we saw each other! hahhahaha
our fave resto to dine before was Roma Mia in Ayala Center Cebu, and that's where we met up. Our fave dish there is the "God Father's Chops in Herb Sauce"! try it, its heaven! hahahaha... and that's what we ordered... so funny, coz the waiter there who used to serve us before said, "sir, long time no see"! hahahah... he remembers us so well... i just replied, "i know, and its good to be back"! hahahah.. so here we are, meeting up, just like the good old days! :) click the pictures to have a bigger view. :)

i really just have to share this. bethel brought me a present from Singapore. its not just a present but a very SOSYAL present, and im still in awe until today just staring at it! hahahaha... i really didnt expect it! i just have to share this with everybody who reads my blog. she gave me a LACOSTE gym bag! isn't she the sweetest?!!! she really knows my taste so well! hahaha ... im levelling up, goodbye Nike, HELLO Lacoste! hahahha ... well, we really have a penchant for nice things. chos! lol :)... and to top it all, she added a Cadbury Luxury Collection. its my fave chocolate and i didnt know that they have a new luxury label. and the taste, its really luxurious, suits my palette so well... chos! hahahaha :) click the pix to have a bigger view. :)
its nice to have a lot of friends but its best to know your true friends. let's all keep-in-touch with our friends coz they are our angels. :)
