a friend told me that Etude House has better bb cream than Faceshop and prices are more reasonable. I didnt know where Etude House is located at SM Cebu. so, cody, myself and jay asked the guards of its exact location, and we were given set of directions. it was cody who first saw the store, and by the time my eyes were locked at the store, i was shocked to see that its colored PINK, as in PINK! kakaloka! hahahaha! here's how the Etude House Store looks like. :) so, we directly went in the store and i directly asked the salesladies of their bb cream products. they introduced to me LOVE HOMME, their bb cream line for men. its SPF 30/PA ++ - Anti-Wrinkle and Whitening...but how i wish it has collagen content pero keri na toh for me. hehe :) here's how the bb cream for me looks like. :) before i took pictures of their products and the store, i asked permission from the salesladies if its ok, and was told it was ok. so, i took all the pictures i need. i told them that i have a blog and they asked for it, so i gave them my blog website. i also took picture of the salesladies who were very gracious to assist me and answer all my queries. ang babait nila! :) ... they are actually excited to see their faces in my blog! hahaha.... so, here they are! :) i just noticed in this pic that Nancy looks like Venus Raj! if she's a little darker, kahawig na talaga! lol :) Nancy had a beautiful make-up when i took this pic. i asked her what she's using and was told that she's using the bb cream with minerals for women plus face powder. promise, ganda ng make up nya, as in! :) here's the Etude House Store at different angles. Try to visit their store, they may have products to your liking. they really have reasonable prices for their products. :) click on the pics to have a larger view. :) by the way, the cost of the bb cream that i bought was Php 600 plus. sa faceshop, their bb cream is pegged at Php 900 plus. big difference in terms of price, as in! :) check it out, guys! :)
tight hugs, AC jay, cody and i agreed to watch the movie, Unofficially Yours by John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. Here's the trailer of the movie. i find the movie very moving... i dont know with cody and jay, parang wala lang sa kanila, mga manhid, mga walang puso! hahaha... the lines were very touching... nice script, indeed! :)... my fave scenes are the acrobatic sex scene of john lloyd and angel at john lloyd's condo with the participation of john lloyd's flatmates! it was very hilarious, as in! the office "kilig" scenes! hahahaha... the lunch of angel with john lloyd's family at a resto (funny scene!) the tear jerker scenes were: the time angel narrated to john lloyd what happend to her previous relationship.... when john lloyd confronted the man who caused angel pain and was given one week suspension (office scene), the newspaper article of john lloyd to angel... these were the scenes that made a mark in my hypothalamus... the whole movie was superb... light but tagos hangggang buto! im a very mababaw na tao, i am always in character when i watch a movie. chos! (feeling artista) but really, that's how i am... for this movie, i cried so much that i had a hard time breathing coz of my clogged nose from too much crying! hahahahaha... during the movie, ako lang ang pinapansin ni jay and cody and teases me everytime my hands move to wipe away my tears.... hahahah...sorry, im very mababaw but that's me... both cody and jay knows that i am always like that, even before pa but they just cant help but tease me, everytime! hahahha :) because of too much crying from watching the whole movie, i had to look down as we got out of the cinema so people wont notice that i've been crying! hahaha... after a few meters away from the long line, then i held my head high and asked jay to take a pic of me so i'll know how i looked like after watching the movie... hahahha... here's the before and after pic of myself during the movie. hahaha :) i love angel and john lloyd's tandem in this movie. they have chemistry! i tell you, this movie is very relatable. kumpletos rekados, wala ka nang hahanapin pang iba. to all, watch na! :)
tights hugs, AC after watching a movie, cody, myself and jay passed by a newly opened fish spa, located at SM Cebu's fourth level. its name is Tibiao Fish Spa ... tag line - "an exciting exfoliating experience"... oh diba? lol i've heard of this type of spa before but never really tried it as i dont like the idea of a fish nibbling at my feet! hahaha! once i get the courage, which is not so soon, i'll try it! lol... all the while, i though its just a small fish but it isnt! the more i am afraid to try! hahaha... here are some of the pics i took when i checked out the place. click on the pics to have a bigger view. :) so, to everybody who's into this type of feet cleaning, you might want to try this newly opened fish spa at SM Cebu. :)
tight hugs, AC jay, a really good friend of cody and myself, is here in cebu for a very short vacation. i must say that jay finds cebu as a stress reliever after a busy life in dumaguete, having to work for in a call center, of which cody and i are not tied up anymore. Thank God! (agree, cody? lol )... we started our sunday with lunch at a sutukil (sinugba, tinola, kinilaw) station in front of SM Cebu, named Parr't Ebelle. There, we had lunch and got to take pics of some of their actual menu. here it is! click on the pics to have a larger view. :) ... ay wait, before you click on the pics, i must add, its my first time to see a VERY BIG kaldero, as in! its not the normal kaldero you see at hawk stations. hahaha... na-amaze lang ako, hindi ko ini-expect! hahaha ;) i could clearly recall that our bill for this meal alone cost us Php 655.00. not bad for three persons. this includes the soda na and bottled mineral water. keri na ang price coz we were all so bundat after we feasted what's in front of us! hahaha ... i wont enumerate na what we ordered coz i dont want to be tagged as patay gutom! hahaha! ..... after our lunch, we headed straight to SM Cebu to watch the movie, "Unofficially Yours" by John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin... but we learned that it will start showing by 2pm pa so we just killed the time at Starbucks SM. here's how we are at Starbucks! lol :) wait, i must say that ako lang ang hindi color coordinated sa aming tatlo... they didnt tell me that they'd wear pink! mga eksenadora talaga! lol ... i told them, why didnt you tell me that both of you will wear pink, sana nagpink din ako ngayon... ay, smile lang sila, walang akong nakuhang sagot... tama ba yun? anyways, sige na lang, next time... so, here's our ganap at SM Starbucks... lol ... who do you think is the slimmest among the three of us? hahahahaha ... just for laffs, guys! :)
tight hugs, AC feb 16, 2011 marks the kick-off with my current company for 2012. new year, new goals and new projects to work on. as of this writing, my employment is still on probation... hahaha! but hey, 2 days prior to my regularization (feb 18), i was given an AWARD by the management team! yipee! the certificate says: "AC, who just joined Sales and Marketing last July 2011, has been very active in the department's initiative on process documentation. he proactively created the process document template, reviewed and made recommendations on each submitted process documents. with this, it will be easier task for the department to streamline processes and come up with recommendations to improve work flow. AC's dedication to help the department achieve its goals is highly recommendable and is worthy of recognition. you are truly a role model!" oh diba, taray?!!! hahahaha... 2 days before the kick-off, i was invited for a photo shoot and was told that my pic will be used in the slideshow during the presentation, of which my manager has approved. so, the "feeling artista" in me obliged and was in commercial model mode during the photo shoot! hahahaha... my manager didnt mention that i'll be given an award. i had no idea until my name was called during the event proper where there were hundreds of people in attendance! hahaha... so, by the time my name was called by our sr. manager, and my pic was shown on stage, i was like "what the..." i was in shock, in awe and could barely walk up the stage as i was seated at the far end of the venue. i had to walk 10-15 meters to get to the stage! hahahaha... of course, i had to compose myself and do the catwalk, ala miranda kerr of victoria's secret! hahaha... the feeling of being on stage and be recognized and be known to everybody was a surreal experience! I LuuVV IT!!! haha! after receiving the award, i had to go walk another 10-15 meters back from where i was seated! lol... on my way back to my seat, people who knew me congratulated me, and i replied back by saying thank you, silently (lip synch manner).. oh diba, feeling artista talaga?! hahaha. people who knew me from my previous company would call me the queen of documentation or the documentation guru. i will not be called by such if i wasn't trained by a very OC and intelligent mentor in documentation, amy estrada.(dont get mad at me, amy! hahaha) this is an acquired and learned skill. this is one thing i must say where i'm really good at. one of my forte. i am proud to say, that this is the legacy i left with my previous company. i have shared and trained many on this aspect, which they have put on use with their current company. :) i am inclined to think that im making another mark with my current employer. i want to make what i've started be bigger, bolder and best! chos! ilusyonada! hahahahaha.. who knows, right?! i've done it before, there's no reason why i cant do it again! chos! lol! :) i hope i have inspired you in my own little way. think not of what your company can do for you, rather, what you can do for the company. excellence is a choice, and never an option. chos! hahaha :) ay wait, just have to share this - Samsung SK II takes really2x good pictures.... nakakaganda! hahaha... was toying with my manager's phone (Samsung SK II) before my name was called and these are some of the pics i took of myself using this particular phone. lol! it really feels good to be recognized. it makes you always work at your best, and most of all, it makes you BEAUTIFUL, like me! chos! hahahaha :) tight hugs, AC Got a children's party invitation today from a very good friend, Inda. her daughter, Ellie, is celebrating her 1st birthday today at Mcdonalds Ayala Cebu. apart from this very cute angel, it was nice seeing familiar faces of former colleagues. and with my prying eyes, i took notice of who gained weight! well, everybody did! hahhahahaha... Ellie's birthday is somewhat a reunion of my QA Systems team from my previous employer. It was nice seeing former teammates and of course, 'chika' updates! hahaha... whatever the 'chika' is, its between the people whom the story was shared. :) ... here's baby ellie at her 1st birthday bash! :) and the whole experience at baby ellie's birthday! :) and the QA Systems Team reunion! :) i had a great time at this party. love the kwentuhan! hahaha... thank you for inviting me riz and inda... until the next invitation! lol :)
tight hugs, AC after a month of searching on-line and among the feng-shui stalls of different malls here in Cebu, finally, i was able to buy the charms i needed to protect and help me this year. yipee! :) ... my apologies, i wasn't able to take pics of the stalls where i bought my charms since i forgot to bring my digi cam with me. i didn't expect to find the charms that i was looking for yesterday, when cody and i went to spend the day at SM mall. i was just checking the charms available at the different stalls, and lo and behold, i found two charms, from two different feng-shui stalls! both charms were sold at a whooping Php 800.00 each but i got them at a really2x good deal! it pays if you're a 'suki' plus convincing bargaining powers! hahahaha... so, here's what i was able to buy: three celestial guardians with implements (key chain form), and victory banner (key chain form). :) i still have three more charms to buy, the wu lou with crane and bamboo, the fire talisman and the wishing tree. the wu lou is just so expensive (Php 2,600.00)!!! hope i could find a small one for this...hahaha... next time, i'll take pics of the stalls and the sales girls so you'll know whom to coordinate with to get a bargain price! hahahaha :) until the next feng-shui charm bargain hunt guys! :)
