It's been awhile since i last posted something. my apologies dear readers (feeling na marami kayo na followers ng blog ko, chos!). anyways, my life's been very busy with the corporate world i'm in, super! ubusan ng hininga sa pressure, ganung levels... so, me and my friends embarked on a weekend getaway at Badian, south of cebu. i'm joined by a lovely couple, the Evanglista's. We visited Lambug beach. Notice the sprawling white sand beach! heaven!
we settled at Grandeur Beach Resort which is 100 steps away from the parking area (rough estimate lang). what i really like about this place is that its not over crowded with tourists and locals maybe because of its location which is about 3 kms. from the main national road. there's tranquility, peace and calmness in this area. if you're not a fan of crowded and rowdy people, u should visit this place. the sand is close to powdery which is a joy to walk on. we booked a room that's good for four persons which costs Php 2,250 per night. it's composed of 1 queen size bed and two single bed foam. if you're a group of four, the room would become sardines level na. lol... the room and toilet is clean, all tiled up. the water pressure is not that strong but its always available so keri na. the resort provides you with cooking and dining utensils. there's a fridge for everybody's use. you have your assinged dining table and there's a cooking area as well. almost everything is provided by the resort.
the beach water itself is a combination of sea grass and small rock formations on the sea bed. you have to be careful coz i personally spotted two sea urchins... other than that, its crystal clear water. there are so many tiny school of fish. my only complain, there are invisible sea creatures that bit me coz i felt tiny stings all over my body most of the time, and my friends complained about it too. here's our ganap. :)
i hope you guys who are able to read this would visit this place soon. its worth the trip and just have fun along the way. lol
when we headed back to cebu the next day, we passed by famous spots along the way. 1st, we stopped by Barili town where we had lunch at Gustoso Pizza and Grill. my o my, u should try their Gusto Special pizza (i may be wrong about the title) coz its an overload of everything, the BEST! take it from me, when i say its the best, its really the best! lol... we also tried their vegetarian pizza, which is almost all tomato slices.. its taste is refreshing to the palette but this one is just an average when it comes to taste. they can do a lot of improvement on this one. try adding arugula and basil perhaps? just a suggestion. also, the place is all made of hard wood, so expect everything to be almost rock solid and heavy! lol here's our ganap.

ang men's cr, di ko kinaya ang hiya level when i peed. you'll see everybody passing by when you pee and they see you too coz its fronting the main road! you pee on the wall with a urinal attached to the main fence! kaloka! to the management of Gustoso, please do something to keep naman your urinal for men private. its so inhuman, nakakaoffend. :(
anyways, after lunch, we had another stop over at the Molave milk station to taste their ice cream made from fresh carabao and cow's milk and this will be our dessert. i always love being under a tree coz the wind gushing is really cool. this is how this milk station is set-up. but my gad, the ice cream is too sweeeeeet, kaloka! after 1 hour consuming the ice cream, we felt that our throat was sore na sa sobrang tamis ng ice cream. we all had an itchy throat to a point that it hurts when you swallow your saliva. we raced drinking water. hahaha! my gad, not worth trying again coz magkakasorethroat ka after sa sobrang tamis. to the management of molave milk station, PLEASE, I BEG you to lessen the sweetness of your ice cream, nakakadiabetes ang level ng tamis ng ice cream nyo. the puto flan that we had was just so so in taste. not impressive and by saying that, they could improve more on this.

so, this is how me and my friends have concluded our weekend. i'm happy how everything turned out as we are well prepared for this trip. there was no hassle at all. best thing is that we all had a good conversation on and off the table. we are not gadget peeps who from time to time checks their phone to check other people's status on social media. all we did was pure, forward looking, fun, no judgement conversation. chos! until next time. :)
